Lol!
Argh Don't you just hate it when you start reading a book, which turns out to be quite hopelessly boring, and you can't bring yourself to finish it?! >:|

I really enjoyed doing this last year. I didn't get to all the books I wanted to, so I figure I'll put them on the list for this year. Have fun! :)

I didn't get to all my books last year either, so I'm making a note to read them this year too. I noticed your new list for 2009, and I have to say that I second a few of those reads. Especially Atonement and A Midsummer's Night Dream. Oh and I see that Pride and Prejudice is among your list, I do hope you'll be able to read it this time. It's beyond brilliance.

Have fun too! :)

Awesome plan. TBH I think I only read about 10 this year myself. Will look forward to your progress on this :)

Thank you. 10 is not such a bad number, besides I only managed 11 in 2008. :)

Well with all the school/uni transition I think 10/11 is fair enough for the both of us :D 2008 was an extremely busy year for me.

Oh, dude! Now that you've seen the Stardust movie you should read the book. I read it this summer and I personally felt the movie was better (you'll know what I mean if you read the book, it's pretty different) I wanna discuss it with someone XD

Oh yes, I totally forgot about Stardust the book. Yep, definitely, I'm putting that quite high on my 'To Read' list. I may, if I get it in time, read it after I finish North and South. Then we can discuss it! :D I doubt it'll top the movie for me, I totally loved the movie. Great film.

Thanks for reminding me. :D

Haha, no prob. The book is really intriguing but it was a little too dark for my liking. Do read it asap! ;D

I'm doing this too, don't know how I'll manage it with Uni, but I will read 20 lol.
Nice first book choice. It's been on my to-read list for ages after the adaptation.
Good luck! And have fun!

You've got quite a goal there!
I have a very large list of books I want to read in 2009 as well. I want to read 70 books in 2009. Dream big, I know.
